Mediation

We empower parties to reach a mutually acceptable agreement and avoid a decision to be made by a judge or jury, leaving the decision power totally and strictly with the parties.

Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution, where a neutral third-party, called a mediator, assists parties in a conflict reach a mutually agreeable resolution. The mediator facilitates communication and negotiation, but leaves the decision power totally and strictly with the parties.

The mediator does not decide what is “right”  or “fair and reasonable.” Rather, the mediator helps the parties explore their issues, interests and potential solutions. Mediation is typically voluntary, and all discussions are confidential.
